Unmanned Fueling Stations
The AFC operates unmanned fueling stations in various locations around the state to help meet the fueling needs of the industry. These stations are operated through a card lock system that enables members to activate the pumps and charge fuel to either a special account maintained by the AFC or a commercial Visa, MasterCard or Discover Card. A system whereby members who have their own tanks can purchase bulk fuel will be available soon as well.
Our first station is under construction and should be open by the end of June 2008. This station will be in Cottonton, in front of the main gate at the MeadWestvaco Mill. We will be constructing other stations around the state as well including Selma, Monroeville, Demopolis and Courtland. If you would like to offer a suggestion for another site, please click here.
